Captain Tommy Matthews
with a nice load of Santee Stripers that were caught during one
of his guided trips.
Captain Tommy Matthews would be a great choice to take you on a
day of fishing for stripers or catfish on the Santee Cooper Lakes.
Captain Tommy was born in Atlanta, Georgia on 06/03/1960. He then
moved to South Carolina in 1965 and has been fishing the Santee-Cooper
Lakes since he was a little boy. He is also the nephew of Randolph
Matthews who started Randolph's Landing back in the late 1950's.
Captain Tommy has been SC Coast Guard Licensed since 2000 when he
retired as a welder, which he had done for almost 20 years. He fishes
from a 25 1/2' Maycraft, a nice deep v-hull boat, which is powered
by a 225 HP Mercury engine. Captain Tommy has the knowledge and
skill of fishing that he would love to teach you during a day of
guided fishing fun.
