At 53 years old Gus enjoys his fishing as much as he ever did and is always in high spirits and a fun fishing partner. Most of the time you can catch him at his lake house located right here on Lake Marion. On those rare occasions where Gus isn't fishing, you'll find him at his home in Columbia. Call as far in advance as you can, Gus's repeat customers keep him booked well in advance.

Gus fishes for catfish all year long and for Stripers in the fall to early mid-winter, then Stripers again for the live bait season from May through late Summer. Gus has the reputation for taking you anywhere on the system that he needs to to catch the biggest and most fish possible. And with his boat he gets you there in a hurry too!!!!

Capt. Gus has been US Coast Guard Licensed for over 25 years. He prides himself in keeping all of his rods, reels, and other equipment on his 25 foot Crest Pontoon well maintained and up to date. Gus's pontoon is fully equipped to handle all your fishing needs. He can handle up to 6 people plus himself comfortably. He has recently added a heated enclosure for those cold winter months.
