Captain
Bob Sandifer (white shirt) after a guided trip with a catfish weighing
well over 40 pounds.
Its time to book those catfish, crappie, striper, or largemouth
bass trips for your next vacation.. Right at the top of your list
of guides to take you out should be Captain Bob Sandifer. Captain
Bob was born in Lexington, Kentucky on August 29, 1957. He then
moved to Orangeburg, SC when he was about 6 years old. Captain Bob
is a retired law enforcement agent who has been fishing the Santee
Cooper lake systems since he was about 8 years old. He served the
Orangeburg County Sheriffs office for 21 years and then retired.
Once retiring he moved to Lake Marion in 1999 and has been SC Coast
Guard Licensed since 2001.
Captain Bob fishes from a 2000 model 24' Landau Pontoon with a full
enclosure for those cold winter months. He also has a 21' Skeeter
bass boat that he uses when fishing for the largemouth bass. Captain
Bob has the equipment, the knowledge, and the drive to go out and
do a good job of teaching you how to bring in those monster catfish,
crappie, stripers, or largemouth bass that the Santee Cooper Lakes
hold in their beautiful waters.
