Fishing on the great Santee-Cooper
Lakes can be a new experience for everyone. It can also be
a rather tough first experience if you aren't already familiar
with fishing these very large lake systems. Here at Randolph's
Landing we have put together a few helpful hints that may
make your fishing trip to Lake Marion more productive and
also much more fun. Several different techniques and styles
of fishing are used for each of the different species of fish.
Each of these techniques and styles are explained in this
section of the website under the Fishing January - June and
the Fishing July - December links. These links will explain
the best seasons for each of the species of fish and the different
techniques that are used in catching those species.
These
sections should help you in deciding when the next best time
for you to take that fishing trip to Lake Marion may be.

We have also included a photo
gallery of recent fish that have been caught here
on Lake Marion. Some of these fish have been caught off of
our pier here at Randolph's Landing, some from guided fishing
trips that are taken with licensed captains, and some have
been caught by fisherman who were out on the lake on their
own. Whatever the case may be these are some of the fish that
you should expect to see when you come to the gorgeous lakes
of Santee Cooper.
